Just curious. When I attend christian singles events I find women outnumber the men. For example 85 woman and 5 men. Don't men go to singles events

I don't go because they seem to me to be a great waste of time. If I am tryin to get to know a woman as more than a friend, I prefer to spend time alone with her and her family. You don't know someone until you see how they are with their family. I know it has been a deal breaker for me in the past. I get to know the woman, but find she is completely different around family members. My past two relationships have been broken off because of the way the woman acted around family. Maybe if I lived in a big city, I would go to the mixers. Blessings, Leon |

At the Bible study I was at tonight there were about seven single guys and one single woman.
And one married couple .... the B.S. leader.

to my knowledge there are no mixed older single christian groups in my area - if there is such a group, I don't know about it, and I probably wouldn't go to it. My reason is quite complex and a little difficult to explain - it's sort of along the lines of I can't stand being with competitive women and obnoxious men.
So ... if it was a group of GENUINE christians who wanted to talk about theology and societal issues, and not just a meat market, then I possibly might go ..... but I find that when and where genders mix, egos soar.
I think it's such a shame, because there are so many potential friends that we never meet because of the way that other people behave.

For those not going to singles events. Where are people meeting the person. I did join eharmony before about 10 yrs ago it was expensive and no luck. I know the secular sites are there but few even have the faith.I went that route. Many replies but most or maybe all said they were not born again nor what they call religious. I explained maybe they were and did not use the word born again. Well they denied the christian faith. Some did say they were christians. Asking what it meant showed they were not. Answers like yes as long as we treat people well no matter what faith we are ok. And answers like oh I consider all religions good and leading to heaven. So they were not true christians but deceived. Shame. Even by my witnessing they thought it was too narrow minded a view of christian. Remember I said jesus said the way is narrow. The broad way most are on and it is wrong. Now I did not say this to them: if I feel my beleifs are in line with culture then I would be afraid. This God of the world is the devil's system not God's. We are in a free and easy anything goes religion times.

This is where I go.... http://www.singlesreachingsingles.com/This is NOT a dating club, but more of a Fellowship, Prayer group, where we go out and support each other, as brothers and sisters in Christ. I have had the BEST time here. We do things together, and it's a ministry. So, I'm glad I joined. |

I want to ad something.
In our singles group, some of the 'girls' are going to Disney World this weekend.
So, it's a wonderful group for fellowship.
Yes, I'd like to get married again. Will I find it at my singles group? Probably not, but you never know, and I'm not in a hurry.
