This gal has been overloaded with knowledge all week. lol I'm a hands on sort of person and would very much like to throw the text books out the window and keep learning by doing...but unfortunately, the books are there for a reason...so, I must go study. lol The situation with my p/t job worked out well. They reduced my hours for me by half.

Last night I spent the evening with my son and my parents. My dad and my son bought me a bouquet of flowers for my birthday. Blue roses...I love them :-)

I am run off my feet, stressed because everything in my life is so new right now - but very happy for the opportunity to go back to school.  God has been good to me this year and will see me through. However, He can't see me through if I never open my textbooks..haha
Off I go..lol

Highlighting and taking notes always helped me when I was studying or going through material that I was studying.  Using Index cards on the spiral binding puting term, theory or person on on side and the info about it on the other was handy when it came to studying for the test.  You stick them in your purse and anytime you are stuck waiting in line is a chance to study your subject.

haha books are open...I'm getting closer. lol I can be such a procrastinater sometimes. lol

Good tips KM.  When I was in college years ago, I recorded my notes onto cassette by reading them and then played it on auto reverse for a few days before my exams.  I'd play it in my sleep even. You'd be surprised what you can learn while you sleep, cook and clean the house ;-) If you record it right, leave a few seconds so you can think of what it is before the tape tells you.  My fellow classmates were trying to pay me to make tapes for them. I refused. lol

Joan - I'm sorry you had such a rough day.  Keep us updated regarding your health.  You are in my prayers. [pray]

I'm enjoying the crisp Autumn air, the sunny days, and knowing that I'm forgiven for the times I really mess up like this past Tuesday.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes :-)  It was a good one. I used to be in denial on my birthday and let it really bother me but now I just see it as another year to improve myself by a gazillion percent. lol My son also starts giving me early homemade birthday gifts months in advance. He got his dad to buy me my first Japanese Fire toad. lol

I officially got the study bug. The information I need to know right now on the job is not taught till half way through the course so I have to start crackin the whip. lol

I'm praying for your health... [pray]

Please don't take what I'm about to say the wrong way. I understand your concern for your family, it's hard to sit back and watch these things unfold, I know this because I'm on bended knees for some of my family members who have walked away from the Lord. God is working on bringing them all back one by one though. Some He has had to bring to completed brokeness for them to turn their face to him. I had to do something recently that broke my heart, but in order for God's plan to unfold in that persons life I had too. I knew the prayers I have prayed for this person. If I had handled it different I would of been blocking what God was about to do. Even when we pray we better be ready for what we might have to give up or go through in order to have those prayers answered.

God knew the deep desire in my heart for them to repent and call out...Yes Lord I'm ready! I'm ready to walk with you! That day had arrived and I knew it the minute it happened. I knew what I had to do even though my heart was breaking. I had to obey the Lord! Today there's joy in my heart and another family member saved. PTL! I know the angels were rejoicing over that one. So Sister Joan don't give up on those prayers for your family. God will do what ever it takes, this situation with your niece could be what it takes for her to turn her face to the Lord.

Blessings and Love!

To be honest things have been bad with me. Severe knee pain. Sister arrested falsely and niece got drunk on halloween and got her kids taken away. Chiropractor says the pain could be cancer related as I have breast tumor and severe pain in my knee for a few months. On high pain pills. So very depressed of this. Went on vacation. Problem with fuel so missed my connection so laid up in miami a day. Lost my luggage going there and it took 2 and half days to get it. Without pain pills for 3 days and no sleep during vacation till luggage and pills arrived. Place was beautiful. Great swimming and praising God. Got home and as I was driving my car gave out. Had it in and out of the shop every day since back. Praying to God to help me. Boy I hope it is not cancer this pain in knee and tumor of breast. Still being tested. Then I got a call as I was praying my high school friend was told they think she has skin cancer from a biopsy so sending it out for another opinion. Yikes. Glad I am saved. That is the one rock I have in this crazy mess I am in.

Good word 1of7....

Today is a new day, and new beginnings.....I love new beginnings....God is always right in the middle of newness of life! Today another change for my life. YAY! [thumbup]

*When Jesus asks us for something it is always found in the “deep,” i.e. the place we do not understand and have never been. This is the place where our answer, solution, and miracle is found…..we must trust Him deeper still.
