AG  Sounds like you are having an eventful week!  Grin

I am still singing to my new David Crowder Band CD I bought at the concert on Sunday.  It was so awesome!  I even bought a t-shirt.   I posted one of my new favorites on the CD on the Music Board called The Veil.    I feel like a teenager bouncing around to some of these songs and loving every minute of it.

I went early to CR and was able to help with set up tonight to get things ready and put things up and even help the leader with his little one which loves the word NO.  I enjoyed it so much.

I have my own perky songs I listen to too :-)

This week I've been consumed with some of the songs I posted. Took some time off studying and poured myself into what God was showing me.  Time to crack the whip again though :-)

Just a bit of a funny story..
Last night, our escape artist Japanese Fire Toad was missing..again. lol  We searched high and low and in the tank several times. Both flashlights were out of commission so I asked my son if he had any money I could borrow to go to Walmart and buy a new flashlight (I'd just been to walmart and knew their debit was down. Didn't want to run to the bank). He found eight dollars and we headed out the door.

Walking through walmart, I suddenly had a Reisen choc craving and told my son I was craving chocolate.  I mentioned that maybe if we found cheap enough flashlights, we could buy choc as well..lol  He instantly told me that he didn't give me money to buy chocolate.  That that's all he had and he didn't want me buying chocolate. He was very serious about it too. lol
(Even though I had told him I'd give him ten back for the eight. lol I keep my word too :-)  Anyway, we find the flashlights, two pack for 4.97, even with batteries.
As we were walking to the till, I grabbed a bag of Reisen choc on our way by.  Suddenly he says "I didn't know that was called Reisen choc. MMMMM!!!".
lol

We get home, my son runs and looks in the tank. Low and behold, there is the missing toad. lol I had told my son earlier than when I found her I was going to give her a little spanking with a popsicle stick. lol  So he says "Mom, are you going to spank her?".  I said "For what? Staying in the tank? lol". He laughed..that toad sure keeps us busy some days..lol

Twice I've gone in that room to find her on top of the screen looking down in at the other frog..

Oh how funny AG----both Your son and the frog.  Cuz I swear my beta fish has a unique personality and the other two fish I just bought I haven't figured out yet (they swim around like somethings chasing them or they are hiding---it's usually one or the other so I change things in their bowl and put more greenery in there hopefully they will calm down.)

Funny how even little creatures have their own personality eh?.. lol You see the male never leaves her alone. LOL  I don't blame her really.  We are going to create more hiding places for that gal. :-) She was perfectly happy till we brought him home. lol

I use to have a lyre tail molly that would come to the top of the aquarium and let me pet her nose.....she just hung around while all the other fish would swim away or stay at the bottom of the tank until I moved away. I thought that was so cute.....but it may have been the death of her.....ooops.....is it okay to touch fish in your aquarium?

Now that I've said that.....

What a quiet, chilly and rainy day. Time to call it to a close.....

My daughter talked me into visiting the Mall today. Christmas decorations everywhere, so pretty and I enjoy it. Not much for spending time at the mall but I now live in a "real" city with "real" large malls. YAY! So it's nice..... I say if you're gonna go "malling" make it big and fun! LOL!

Thankgiving....one week from tomorrow.

My Daily Status today is it's been a long day and I have to admit I'm feeling a little blue even though I got my hair done today and it has blonde and a pinkish red sort of highlight in it and it really looks cute.  I went in and my stylist said how about something different for fall and I said why not. The hair thing was fun and I might even think about getting my ears pierced a second time but since I'm feeling tired, blue and lonely, I think I better wait until later to make any decisions like that or I might end of with a tatoo too zowy [eyebrows]. Just struggling tonight.

Sorry to hear you had such a Blue day, Kay!  hugs.... Hope you feel better soon..I'll be wishing some sunshine for us all...It wasn't a blue day yesterday for me in a lot of ways... in fact the sun shone and it was cold and clear and starry in the night... but snow is on the way- I can feel it and smell it in the air...

God bless our loved ones today... [thumbup] [pray]

Little red bird on the lonely moor, O where wast your sleep last night?
Out on a gorse bush dark and wide, dark and wide, dark and wide,
Rain kept falling on every side, O hard was my sleep last night.."

I think old man winter is confused in North Carolina. He seems to get his toes over the border and then out pops Mo. Sun and his brother Warm Temperatures and Winters gone. I hope he doesn't get frustrated.....he might snow!  [thinking] what an exchange for Rain that would be. The Ms. Rain does not seem to know where to go....so she comes and goes. She must be shopping for land LOL! Here's a hint for her....."The rain is Spain falls mainly in the plain"...

All of creation groans.......

On a side note....peace and joy is beautiful fruit.

Parent Teacher interviews today...my little guy did SO much better than last year. I just can't complain at all. lol  Such a difference since those tonsils came out this last summer. Now I think he's a normal child. I remember last year I was thinking.."It's only Grade One! We have 11 more years to go.....it can't be this bad already....lol".

Sent away my first assignment booklet yesterday. 22 more to go..lol But first a nap :-D

Oh and for anyone who knows me, you'll be quite stunned to hear that every night that my son has been with me for the last two weeks - I have been COOKING real meat for supper.  Not roasted in the oven but I've been buying the turkey and chicken breast skinless boneless frozen in the box.  It may not be as fresh as some of you like it but it's a HUGE improvement for this gal. lol High in protein, low in fat :-)

oh and my son has thanked me for not cooking brussel sprouts, turnips and spinach alternating each night like my mom did when I was a child. lol
