"Our Father which art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
They Kingdom come, Thy Will be done
On earth as it is in heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread;
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive those our debtors
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil:
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, forever. " Amen

One of the things I am most thankful for is my 6 month old Grand son. He cannot talk or walk but he makes me laugh all the time. Wow.....so fun.

That's wonderful sister in Him... I'm really happy for you. [thumbup] [thumbup] Hope you have a great Saturday too....and maybe you could pray for mine if you think about it.  [pray]  Cool Coffee time! LoL Actually we sisters are to meet at a local coffee place that I really like... it has a neat history- used to be an opera house and saloon in it's hey day. I've always loved walking by the building and dreaming of restoring it someday. I was glad they finally did restore it and are using it again, because it's one of the original buildings from around the turn of the century. Hey sis who's far away...thinking of you tonight... and wishing you were going to be joining us tomorrow...♥ u....

Have a blessed night, Family in the Lord!  Cheesy It was a good day after all.. on second thought. LoL

"When I think I'm going under, part the waters, Lord
When I feel the waves around me, calm the sea
When I cry for help, oh, hear me
Lord and hold out Your hand
Touch my life
Still the raging storm in me

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford

REFRAIN

I need Thee, O I need Thee
Every hour I need Thee
O bless me now, my Savior
I come to Thee

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain
Come quickly and abide, or life is vain."

Please keep me in your prayers.  In theory I know what the next nine months hold for me but in reality, every day can be a 180 degree turn from the day before. I can see that I need to heavily lean on God each and every day for his guidance and direction.  So many challenges and struggles. So much wondering "why, God?, where are you taking me?"  I've learned that the why and how are not always important. To just trust him and do my best..in time, he will reveal his plans for me :-) and it will all become clear.

We've been blessed with beautiful record breaking temperatures here some days. Snow only once for one day so far many weeks ago. However, I think Christmas shopping will be left to the last minute for most people because it just doesn't feel close yet..without the snow.

I'm headed out for my last paddle on the river. Approx 1/3 of the river is covered in ice, should be an exciting paddle :-) Then it's finally time to put the boats away.. Not that I want to but I don't particularly want to leave it till it's below zero or once we have snow. lol

Watched Rain Man last night.  A lot of cussing but a reminder that each of us have our own challenges that we face on a daily basis.

I finally watched Fireproof the other night....I'm so behind......excellent movie. I'm really proud of Kirk Cameron. I use to deny my son watching the sitcom he was in as a boy because he lied on a continual basis. It was as if becoming a good liar and deceiving your parents was the emphasis on the program. Even though it was only an acting part for Kirk...when someone becomes a "star" their character is often accepted by young hearts....so it was a NO NO in our house.

I am so glad that Kirk is born again.  I would sure like to see the same for Michael J Fox.

I don't want to hijack this thread but I'm discovering how hard it is to find a desirable man. Of course I'm not looking in the workplace but many of the ones in the workplace can leave a lady quite discouraged.  At least once a shift, I have to say Hey, that's not really workplace appropriate. I generally can get along with anyone but some guys just take things too far, on a continual basis.  Either they border on sexual harrassment or they are belittling the other gal in the dept because she is overweight and doesn't exercise enough.  Sometimes their foot is stuck so far in, I'm not sure that it ever comes out. lol  Don't get me wrong, there are a few decent guys who's mind are in the right place and they respect their wives..but they seem to be far and few between.

Where did all the proper respectful men go? In what century did women either become a piece of meat or something to bash? My dad never spoke like that to my mother. Never.  Where are those men?

So I needless to say..have my work cut out for me. lol I won't sit silent in the workplce. I won't rake them over the coals but I will tell them their speech is out of place and that they could be taken to human resources (especially when the other gal sits there and takes it. Someone has to stick up for her..).
grr. lol  I worked with a lot of men in my last workplace and rarely would you catch one talking like that with a woman around, even with a group of guys.  Perhaps this workplace just hasn't been managed the same.
