Well.. I shimmied myself across the ice to get to the middle of the river, listening to praise and worship on my ipod. The weather was lovely...beautiful in fact. Ended up being a shorter paddle than I planned as just around the first bend, the entire width of the river was covered in ice. lol  I then went back downstream almost to the dam and back..figured I was scaring enough people that were driving by, that I had better get out. haha

Was a lovely day for yard work too. :-)

Had a great day at a women's conference today. Wonderful teaching...new revelations.
One thing people: there are so many great bible teachings in this country which is a blessing. But, not much teaching of how to practice a teaching. What if we practiced what we already know and continue to receive more teaching on the way?
What do you think....ooops [eyebrows] I forgot that this forum doesn't allow discussions...never mind. It's just me thinking out laud zowy

Going to NY state this Sunday (50 people from the church here) to spend the whole week with American- indians.
We're gonna pray, build relationships that will open up for more, so we can lead them to the Lord. I pray that someone will get saved while I am here. I just love to see new people come to Jesus. I remember 12 year sago I was in Bible school in Sweden, I heard all complaining that Swedish people are not open for the gospel.
But I prayed: God, please before I leave this country, use me to lead a swedish person to Jesus.  At the end of the school we went out on evangelism and I had the privilege of leading a young man to the Lord. Amazing! So, I pray that an American- indian will get saved while I am there.Well, any American Lord...it's OK Grin

See you later friends.
Wish you all a happy thanksgiving.
Love you in Christ

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all so much for your prayers yesterday! I felt them all around me. Cheesy And God blessed me with a wonderful day in my old hometown, and with my family. We spent a little time in the past...a teensy bit of time in the future, and mostly in the present. It will be a time of good memories to hold to when these days are gone, these happy golden years. Laughter, love, family and friends, and most of all, God.
Today the snow has finally come! It is snowing merrily away out there, and everything is quickly turning white. Today is supposed to be our Thanksgiving, because the rest of the crew can't make it down for Thursday- think my Bro in L is on call. So... I'll wish you all a happy Thanksgiving early! :-)

Love,
TBC☼:-)

Happy, happy golden years
Passing on the wings of time,
These happy golden years.

Call them back as they go by,
Sweet their memories are
Oh, improve them as they fly,
These happy golden years.."

Went with a good friend today who was speaking in a little church south of here. We a great day at a good little church.... something wonderful is going to happen there before it's all said and done.

Quite chilly and overcast here.....but my heart is full of the warmth of the "Son."  [thumbup]

Saddened today that Pastor Billy Jo Daugherty went to heaven this morning at age 57. Pastor of the largest church in Tulsa, OK.

What a legacy he has left behind.  [pray]

Gurlz (& guyz 2) ... yesterday, Sunday, was a great day, as usual ... cuz the Lord's day is so full of the Lord's stuff ... Worship, Music, Prayer, Bible Study, Preaching, Fellowship, Friends, Ministry, Giving ... and football LoL! ... oh, and coffee too.... and food. Smiley

The only low points of the day were first that first the music we practiced Sunday afternoon was soooo slow and kinda ... borrring, lol.  The Lord knows what I mean.  I love praising his name ... but when the song ... is ... so ... slow ... that ... you ... feel ... like ... you ... are ... watching ... paint ... dry, LoL, ............... Lord help me ...  I feel like the bumper sticker that says, "Lord protect me from your followers", LoL.  I am seriously thinking about joining a performing band that plays more upbeat, musically interesting music.

The second low point was no evening church (I really like the worship, music singing, fellowship ... there is so much that you can get from just one service!) ... but then I remembered a Bible study that meets on Sunday night at the coffee house and that lifted my spirits, ha ha ... take that devil! LoL  So I went, then bought a guy dinner afterwards and I feel like I ministered to him for he had shared some recent disappointments.

Well now I don't have room to talk about the good points, ha ha, .. don't wanna be wordy .. but I will say during this Thanksgiving season that I am thankful for the Lord ... and His people ... I love them all, ha ha, I really do.  And Lord thank you for this website! [thumbup]

My son helped me put up the Christmas lights this afternoon. He was a good little helper with the low ladder work.  I told him in five years I'm sending him up on the roof...lol  One month and two days till Christmas and we have no snow and most days it's still above zero celcius.  Seems odd..To my recollection, we've only had one brown Christmas in the past.

For those of you who hate shopping with crowds, the crowds are officially here. lol  This is the time of the year when I shop late at night to avoid them :-) People wandering aimlessly through the aisles....trying to decide on a gift. lol

Archie Girl, clearly you need to come to my side. LoL I have snow.  Grin I'd be happy to let you have as much as you'd want/ could carry. LoL

Putting up the lights-- how fun! I remember those days. I never had any help though-so having your son join in is great....

Yes, snow would be ok BC.  I finally feel like we got an autumn. I love all the leaves all over the yard.  Well we will call this sort of "help" constantly turning the lights off/on while I'm trying to find the one light that's making half the strand not work...haha  Doesn't work so well when the lights are off....lol  But they look so pretty :-) He asked if we could put up the tree too tonight..I'm not ready for that yet.  I'll ease into Christmas slowly.

Oh, I bought those little reindeer gum dispensers that poos out poo-looking gum...haha I discovered them a few years ago and saw them again this year.  So every male in the family is getting one along with their gift. lol  I can't wait for them to open them....hehe

Praise the LORD! Even for onion rings that doth give one indigestion and serveth one right for eating foods one is unaccustomed to at an evening tea for two.  Grin Cheesy Wink  Like fried zucchini- it was actually good!- potatoes skins....and mozzarella sticks. Soo bad for you... but sure tasted good. Glad I only eat them once in a GREAT while though.... [thumbup]

[pray] in praising... for all us creatures here below...
And now... back to bed. LoL

Goodnight all!  [eyebrows] Love you....

Ok right now I am making homemade stuffing for more people than I have ever made it for and I am nervous so pray that it is good---I have a hard time cooking when I am nervous.  I'm making for around 60 people at least.  I want to make sure we have plenty.  That's like almost 10 times the amount of have made at one time.   When I get nervous I get a stomache too!!  My tummy hurts!!!

Not tonight but on the weekend, if my vehicle is still running on the weekend...lol  Check engine light came on and I read the code, same one every year or so..  I did my research so I should be good to go.  [thumbup] Pray for me though please and my van. :-)
