mowd the lawn today,  with all the hot temperatures around her e lawns have gone dormant.
this is the first time I have mowed since before the 27th of June (that week before, sometime, maybe the 24th?)

a lot of junk had sprouted, had sprayed last week but the herbicide did not seem to kick in


but mowing sort of did me in


went to local fabric shop to get fabric for my next project --> a red blouse to go with a skirt

my kitten has an 'excellent set of springs' in her hind feet

I sort of startled her with the broom monster --> she flew up and out so fast  (think she far exceeded the 0 - 60 in 60 seconds)




think her is back in her chest by now

I keep telling you all that God live's up here where I am and visits every where else ! And by the way , Mich is the only state he left his mark on , if you'll notice it's of Gods hand print. Take that , you soutnerners.

God's country is the Adirondacks, with its lofty High Peaks and wilderness areas, lakes, streams, places to canoe, swim. picnic, to see wildlife

And if my geography is correct ...... NY state lies due east of Michigan

Another poster here is from one of the upper NW provinces ..... which is then NORTH of MI

although my homestate  is mentioned earlier, the Keystone state is just as important ..... it has its own Grand Canyon, wilderness areas, places called God's Country and wildlife : bears, bobcats, coyotes, deer,  ruffed grouse, turkeys, rabbits, chipmunks, eagles, ospreys, hawks .... just to name a few     and as the name implies it is critical in holding together the union
(now PA might be a little south of MI but not much)
