Oh my, ShiningStar..this is gorgeous! I am crying and I am not a boo hoo sort of gal. Thank you for sharing it. I have given many people encouragement as it is one of the things the Lord helps me do, and I have a dear brother, in particular, who sometimes gives me a push when I need it most. We have been friends many years now and encourage each other a lot. I have spent some time with multiple trials and he can come alongside and say something to me that is just the push or little encouragement that I need. The thing about this kind of encouragement is that it is not pushy, nor is it babying....it is from God. And He uses various people to be the vehicles of encouragement at just the time we need it most. Giving the right kind of encouragement is a huge blessing to others.

Good posts sisters. Yes, I have and do. I love people, believe that every one has the potential to do good through what they're created for, be they young or old. Passing encouragement and/or edification on, does both the recipient of it and me some good. I also do receive some from Father and others. I find that encouragement is an art of giving, perhaps it's often that giving of the intangibles which may provide the like of it or even some tangibles, through/towards others.

Encouragement has the potential to stir of its like in others, not necessarily back to me, but to others as they pass it on. It can get contagious. It's worth passing on. Cheesy
