     I laid low yesterday in an effort to overcome a cold , but got cabin fever this morning , so I
ran an easy 4 miles. I did a little hacking and wheezing along the way , but feel much better now.

     It's been hot here lately. It seems every day reaches at least 90 , so outdoor exercise needs to start early.
I went to the local high school track and ran 3 miles , after walking 1/2 mile as a warm-up.
     I then drove to my favorite section of smoothly-paved road and rollerbladed on the shoulder for a little over
3 miles. I'm convinced that there's not a better aerobic activity for toning glutes than rollerblading uphill.
During my brief stay in Southern California , my eyes lent credence to that hypothesis as I observed that female
rollerbladers had the best looking legs I'd ever seen.

Learned something new at the gym yesterday..

Always watch your posture. When lifting weights, shoulders down, and slightly back. (Like a gentel squeeze to ur shoulder blades)
Chin tilled up.

What a difference. 15lbs felt like 25......

Great point Shae , about dating , and form in your workouts.

Breath is so important too.

     I did 4 more miles tonight , on the turf . . . it was beautiful.

I love your advice Shea.
I am determine to continue and learn new things all my life.


This is interesting people.
I decided a year ago that I wanted to overcome overeating, overweight and lose 20 lb, thinking that that would be the best for me.
I lost 20 Lb and I was not satisfied. Well, I decided to lose another 5 Lb and I thought that's it, I would be satisfied.
After losing 25 lb altogether, I can tell you, I am still not satisfied with my weight. Everybody keeps telling me to stop losing weight.
I would like to lose another 10 lb but that very slowly.My goal is to lose it until Christmas. And for that I need to continue to be disciplined. It feels great though with something new you want to achieve all the time. I love setting goals for my life and I love reaching my goals. Not always I do

Was in Minnesota last week, got in a lot of biking. I've gotten buff with a strong weight routine since March. Now it's time to bike and get ripped.
