This is a takeoff from the woman to woman thread. When is it long enough to wait for a first real kiss? I am not talking about a peck, I mean a kiss with tongues, everything. What are your thoughts? Also, have you ever asked a woman before kissing her? I have not, but maybe that is just me.
Blessings, Leon

Women say they like it when a guy asks for a kiss but I think they're full of it when they say that. I think they like it much more when a guy steals the kiss. I think the timing is an individual thing on what people prefer and are comfortable with. I don't see any problem with a smootch or 2 early on but the whole tongues thing I'd wait a little while on.

I agree with you Steve. I have never known a woman that wanted to be asked. They are actually offended if you miss their signals, in my experience. As for the tongue thing, I usually follow the woman's lead. If she parts her lips as I start to kiss her, I go ahead. Of course this should be accompanied by her leaning into you at the same time, just to be sure your signals are not crossed.
Good answer, Leon

Leonmartin I think I have dated some strange ladies. I was told if I asked for permission to give them a kiss they would say no. If I just kissed themm it could lead to assault charges. I have had a few insist a man shoud never ask but just kiss a lady. I give up!!!

I have also had one woman say that a man should only kiss a lady if they are "friends with benefits."
I normaly ask for permission first.

I agree it is about timing, and timing for every couple is different. I think it wise for a gentleman to not kiss right away. Just because someone wants to be kissed it doesn't mean the timing is right to actually do it.

It should probably be before you drop her off for the night. Don't wait until she is inside.

Clark,
Since you're the big cheese, you can just kiss any lady you want. If you see one walking down the street that you like, just grab her and kiss her. LOL. Tell them Lawrence said it was okay. LOL. I'm sure they will understand.
Blessings, Leon
P.S. Call me for bail. LOL.

There is a saying that goes "there is no such thing as a dumb question"...
But you can tell that the question is dumb when no lady on here responds to it, LOL

Check what section you are in. This is man to man, the ladies are not supposed to post here. Leon

Leon: My take on it is you must be careful not to inflame passions you cannot scripturally fulfill. What I mean by this is that the type of kiss you describe usually causes sexual arousal in both parties, and since the parties are not married, it is a dangerous place to go. Many a well-meaning couple who had every intention of waiting until marriage before engaging in sex were done in because a kiss got out of hand. I think you must be extremely careful while treading that ground, as it can easily lead down a sinful path. As for permission, I usually do ask first. I have found in my case at least that many women feel special when you ask them first. God bless.

I would have to say I agree with you about being careful. I have not kissed a woman since well before coming back to the Lord, so I was speaking more of my secular experiences. The lady I am seeing now and I have an agreement that we will wait until our wedding day for the kissing. It is much safer that way. Blessings, Leon

I have been in a relationship with a very special woman now for 6 months , we both made a commitment to stay pure. We do kiss and very passinately most times , we know when to back off and do. I refuse to allow sexual sin to come into this relationship , she has also stated this very thing. We both made that vow to God and will keep it. I do not recommend anyone kiss passinately this way unless they can keep it from going past what right. I will say this waiting untill we were maried was not an option for me. But waiting for the sexual part is and will be untill marriage . Which by the way is going to be in Oct this yr.

Congratulations! For us it was easier, we live half way across the country from each other. Had we lived closer, I don't think we would have waited on the kissing either.
Blessings, Leon
