I well imagine you know what is best for yourself Lawrence, but I would sure hate to see you give up if that's what your doing.

Awww, Lawrence, sad to see you go. I have enjoyed your posts - very thoughtful and insightful. Even as you sort out your own relationship woes, you have had good advice for others. Your openness and honesty have been appreciated. God bless you as you seek to honor the Lord and do what is best for your children and yourself. I'm not sure what to pray about your ex, and your marriage, so I will just "give it to God," because He knows the future and how to direct her and you.

Do you mean giving up on discussion, dating, our just giving up on women for awhile? I'm not dating yet, and I'm only giving up on the discussions for awhile. But I assure you I'm not giving up on women.

I need to focus on my immediate personal situation, pastor not liking this whole thing, and he and I not jibing with his fundamental approach to divorce. Things look like they're going to get a bit ugly for me the next few weeks/months while I sort all this out. Not a good time for me to act like I might want to start seeking a new relationship, especially if I might be looking for a new congregation.

... sigh... what sin/temptation brings for trials and tribulations. Never in a life-time did I ever think I would be the one dealing with these divorce problems. Especially knowing I'm not totally blameless in my problems, why anyone would want to date a knucklehead like me I dunno.

Bro LAWRENCE, it has been a blessing having you with us.
Your wisdom, insight and vulnerability was a blessing to see but most of all your humility and honesty. Most certainly you're doing the right thing to allow yourself time in this before you take on another relationship.
